Hi,Seniors i need your help urgently.My husaband applied in feb 2008 in FSWP and our application got terminated because of pre feb backlog.now my husband want to apply to a university in ontario for mba. The question is if he completes his masters in 12 months can he apply in PNP in ontario only?
the second question is that if he gets a job offer before he can start his Mba ,after 1 year of work expeience does he qualify for CEC or PNP or both.
We are a bit confused?PLease help

Please note that the information below is for Ontario province only.

if he does masters full time for 12 months in any public funded university in Ontario, he can apply for ontario pnp, which takes 3 to 5 months. Once nominated by province, he can apply for PR which usually takes 8 -9 months. total time ( 1yr mba + 5 months nomination + 8 month PR) = 2 yrs 1 month ; downside; you have to live in ontario then until you get PR, also you have to pay $ 1500 to get nomination and lastly your husband has to show that he has CAD $ 13k in his bank for last six months.

For your second question, please note that if he gets a job anywhere in Canada and get experience for 1 yr, then he can directly apply for PR w/o nomination from province. ( 1 yr mba + 1 yr experience + 15-18 months PR process) = 3 yrs 6 months

The criteria is master pilot program, if you have done masters of 12 months or more from a public funded uni in ontario, you are eligible for nomination.. it may take upto 5 months to get nominated.. but usually in 3 months.. also, you need to show arnd 13k in your bank account either in your home or in canada for last six months.

there is no points system thingy.. if you meet the criteria as mentioned above, you will get nominated..

thankyou agai for your prompt relpy. its become a lot clearer now. i now hope my husband gets admission in a good university. can you suggest some eligible public funded mba universities of good repute in the market for bagging a good job after graduation? there are many in ontario some are very expensive he wants to do him 12 month full time mba from a good one that is not outrageously expensive. if you have any suggestions please guide us

I ve downloaded the guides and studied them.the application guide for international graduates (masters) is quite self explanatory and easy to understand,
The application guide for nominees i dont understand a few points.Please guide me in understanding these rules
1".Individuals can apply to Opportunities Ontario on the basis of an Ontario employer’s preapproved permanent, full-time job offer."
Does this mean that after getting nominated my husband must have a job offer to qualify for applying for PR

2"".Only an individual who has received the original Pre-screen Position form and a signed Joint
Verification form from their prospective employer is eligible to apply to the program.
Your job offer must:
ƒ Be for a permanent, full-time job in a highly skilled occupation (NOC 0, A, or B).
ƒ Meet the prevailing wage in Ontario for that occupation or entry level wage in Ontario for
International Students ""
For applying for PR to cic my husband must have the above two metioned document?

3.also if the nomanation certificate is valid for only 6 months(that is my understanding from the guide for international graduates) to get all these documents ready and a job offer,what are the chances ?

All of these doesn't apply to master's graduate .. may be you are looking for undergraduate program.

bro it depends on the province you chose..if it is ontario n alberta, its worth...
