I think I might have forgotten to add a place where I crashed at to one of the forms, I only lived there briefly, maybe 4 weeks, I didnt have a lease or anything, I was basically crashing with my boyfriend at the time, all mail was being sent to my parents home. It was so many years ago I forgot all about it. I can't check the information because that form wouldn't save the information so it is blank on my pc. I don't even remember what dates I lived there or the address. I would have to travel to the place to find an address, but I still can't recall the dates. Something on TV reminded me of it and I am a little worried that it will affect my application...

Can anyone offer advice?

I'm not really sure on this, but if you were just crashing on his couch for 4 weeks, it could have been just like a vacation??? Especially since everything was still going to your parents' house, etc.. I wouldn't worry about it too much, however, if u want to rectify the situation, once your application has been sent to the visa office, you can always just send them an email correcting the information or redo the form and fax them the corrected form to give yourself peace of mind.

I don't think you need to worry about it - indeed it could be considered a holiday, and since you were still registered at your parents at the time, i don't think it matters. I'm pretty sure everybody is in the same case - and there is honestly no way that anybody could remember all the places one has been to for the last 10 years (unless you don't move a lot).... CIC wants to know where you have been, and if it's more than 6 months then it matters because of the police record, but for 4 weeks, in the same country, it doesn't make a difference.

I would not contact the VO about it as it might cause more confusion than anything else, but of course - it's always a possibility. London is not very responsive though... :)

I have done the same - for a while I was between 2 apartments and stayed with friends, house-sitting, staying on the couch whenever possible, and I don't recall the details - but all along my mail was going to a friend's address, so that's what I indicated on the form.

Good luck,
