May 26th, new CIC online access for PR sponsorship

Hi,
I read on the help center on CiC website that on May 26th, the family class sponsorship applications would be able to been seen in real time (not updated once a week). It's already ok for some other types of immigration processes. Apparently, we would be able to create an account and check our status in a more accurate time than now.
I'm not so sure I understood well....
Does anybody has informations about that ?

Hi I too saw that in cic help but not sure what there are bring new......hope atleast they wil bring some detailed online check

i wonder what else can be seen after your application is forwarded to the visa office.
especially if it is during a background check..

This will be good,you create account and will be able to submit the required document online(not via email), no more lost emails from VO,The message/update/request will be posted and an automated email will be sent to your email every time they make a change to your application....

Thank you for posting this..I wasn't aware of this change or online accounts at all! Also, I noticed that the CIC website has updated their help page...a lot more questions and details now about applications than before. They actually explain that "in process" on ECAS doesn't actually mean they started...it could be that the app is just in queue ( I always wondered about that). It also says that checking your application 'online' will be day-to-day update, whereas Ecas is just general update..hopefully that online account will help with all this waiting! it seems CIC is making good changes in the right direction recently...

This is exciting. I should be getting SA right around when this becomes available, so I'm glad I'll be able to see a more time-accurate and detailed view of my application status. I wonder exactly how detailed it will be.
