We all have come across different cases for Visas being issued in a short period of time. I am anxious to know what could be the maximum time one could have faced when applied through "document base" via VFS and the Visa got approved.

I got to know the fastest way to get a Visa is through document base via VFS, just wondering what could be the longest period of wait & still Visa got approved.

Please share your experiences.

Yes, even i got to know about a case who got visa in 6 months. I really think its unfair to wait for 6 months for a student Visa, its a worst thing to happen to any one and god forbid after waiting for such a long time if the Visa gets rejected? Gosh! I dont want to think about it. Its really frustrating to think when some one gets Visa in few days (good for them) & we have to wait for months together after paying Univ fees, investment account in Scotia bank (spending aprox 9-10 lakhs)

I also remember reading some where, it is advised to apply for student Visa 4-6 months in advance.

Almost always it takes maximum 3 months (India). Expect refusal (or rarely a deferral request) if it exceeds 3 months.
