Hi,
My husband and I are in Canada and we have valid Canada work permit.
I'm planning to bring my parents to Canada in visitor visa. I'm hearing that there is a 6 months limit that they can stay here.
But I wanted them to stay for close to 10 months... They also have a valid US visitor visa.
Is it possible for them to go to US just before the 6 months limit, stay there for a week and then come back to Canada and stay for 4 more months, so that they can stay around 10 months in Canada without going back to India?
Also, is it a good reason for them to say the immigration officers that they have come to take care of their daughter as she is expecting and also to stay for their daughter's delivery?
It would be great if anyone can help answering my questions. Thanks..
