Hello everyone! I have a friend who is a live in caregiver and she's half way on her two years. She had her vacation back home and got pregnant. She's planning to file for a maternity leave on the 7th month of her pregnancy. She said her employers are fine with her getting pregnant and that they'd still help her in applying for OWP. Our question is, how will this affect her application for OWP and PR? Will she be able to apply for those while on maternity leave? Will the maternity leave prolong the application for OWP and PR or will they consider and still continue the count for the no. of hours required? Thank you!
