Hi,

My name is Nada. I am married to a Canadian citizen and we both currently live abroad. If I were to get the PR card during pregnancy will I then be eligible for a full free maternity health care in Canada as I will sponsored by husband? Will being based in Quebec help? Any explaination on how this can be done would be great! Thank you.

Sponsorship takes approximately a year. If you are PR you will be covered as long as you plan to remain in Quebec for over 6 months. If you don't you could be asked to pay back any costs.
