Hello I own a Incorp in BC and am also a FTE for another company working full time and contributing to EI and CPP. I have worked for more than one year.
Will I be eligible for Maternity EI ?

Note in my business I may keep receiving some old payments from my clients - but since my FTE roll requires me to travel 3 times to office, was considering discontinuing that and seeking Maternity EI.

Incorp structure - I am the only director.

You’d be eligible for EI from the company you WORK for ( not the incorporation) as long as you receive a T4 and have contributed to EI and have worked the required number of hours

You aren’t eligible for EI maternity from your corporation since you own more than 40%
unless you already registered for special benefits for self employed

https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/programs/ei/ei-list/reports/self-employed-special-benefits.html#h2.01

Note once you register for special benefits under a corporation, it’s permanent. You can’t receive the benefit then opt out after receiving the benefits

Have you been receiving payroll from your corporation ?
Hopefully you haven’t been deducting EI from your pay connected to your company

You’d be applying for EI from the company you work for ( T4) not your corporation

They’d issue a ROE and that is what starts the EI process / maternity with you applying
