Neither Tofel nor IELTS is criterion for selection in Canadian universities, rather faculty give a damn to this. IELTS/TOFEL/GRE are just prerequisite for application not deciding factors for admission.string11 said:hey guys!
i have applied as FSW1 on november 2010 and hoping to get thro this and land as immigrant by 2011.
Now my plan is to join masters in molecular pathology and immunology in any university in canada as soon as i get there if possible by fall 2011
Which university accepts easily for this program if u have foreign degree B+grade( bachelor in medical field)and ielts 7? when should i start applying for it...before AOR or after AOR???? Any suggestion and advise please input ur 2cents......
Although admission in graduate degree is very tough in Top Canadian universities, it is not impossible. Professors here look for many qualities in the potential students- Your past 'Degree, College, Grades, Courses, Awards. Academic achievements etc.'. The most important thing is how many Scientific Papers/Articles you wrote. LUCK IS A BIG FACTOR THOUGH.
The competition is so tough here because the students from all backgrounds apply here. Even if one is PR or Canadian Citizen he /she has to compete with students from throughout the world which makes it tough because faculty wants to choose the BEST AMONG ALL. There are only few seats available in some universities which are only reserved for PR/Citizen.
So just improve your CV more n more, n u will achieve your's goal without any hurdle.
Best wishes
(I know this process a bit because I myself is a part of faculty -University of Alberta 8) ;D).
