Hello friends,

I have pursued bachelor's of engineering degree from home country (India) and have completed master degree in international marketing from foreign country (France).

According to breakdown on CRS pointing system Master Degree adds 50 points to CRS final score.

My master degree duration was one year followed by six months of compulsory internship. One of the consultants told me that only two years master degree can 50 points.

Kindly share your views to clear this doubt.
Thank you,
Jay Tank

I am not 100% sure but seems right.

Now on another note you are clearly an educated person, so why on earth are you hiring a Consultant for this process ? It’s all online and you should be able to do it yourself. Don’t waste money on consultants and a lot of time these people screw it up as well.

You need to get your education evaluated. It all depends upon whether the degree is equivalent to Canadian Masters or not.

Thank you for sharing your thought. I will take your suggestion and apply myself without any consultant.

Thank you for your input. May I know the source, where I can get this evaluation done? Could you share any platform (website) where I can compare education levels in different countries, Canada and France if not all.
