I would like to know.I am a live-in caregiver after my 2 years I want to apply for permanent residence. Is it better to get married in my home country before applying for my PR or after I get my permanent residency?

Before. If you get married before, you can include your husband in your PR application and then he will get the PR visa at the same time as you do.

Agreed. It is better to get married before you apply for PR.

Yes get married first. You can also get married in Canada, it isn't a long process at all and you need very little documentation for a marriage license, you dont have to get married in your home country.
