I had my PGWP when I got married and wife had already applied for study permit before marriage. In simple words, I got married while having PGWP and she had already applied for SP. Now she got it, what to do now, how to change statuses, etc?

Hi,

I was married outside the Canada and we didn't change our marital statuses though we are married, now I am a PGWP holder in Canada and my wife got student visa her status is still single, so to obtain any OWP etc I'd need to prove that she's my wife, how to do it? can we get our marriage registered in Canada, or any other solution?

Thanks
When did you get married? Did you already receive your PGWP before you got married? Did your wife receive her student permit before or after getting married. It sounds like you may have misrepresented both your statuses many times.

She was required to update her marital status after she got married. She should have contacted IRCC to update her file while her student permit was being processed. This is considered misrepresentation. She needs to contact IRCC and indicate that she got married, your information, etc. she should also apologize and indicate that she was unaware that she had to update her file after she got married. Has she already entered Canada? She shouldn’t land until her case has been reviewed with her actual marital status.
