Hi, I got my COPR in October, Married in November , landed Canada in December . passport taken by immigration. Before coming I informed teh embassay in my country no response. Now started submitting spouse documents. How can I take passport and stay in Canada till he gets visa. No hurry to get my spouse.

You might not be able to sponsor your spouse for Immigration to Canada. You should have waited for embassy response or delay marriage until landing.
Many thanks. I am already in Canada. Came as did not get a response before my departdate. Can stay till May. How long it takes to clear this.
There is more to your story. Why was your passport taken? This is not normal. CBSA only takes your passport when there is a problem.
Do not start the process of sponsoring your spouse.
I came to Toronto with COPR . Before that I informed to embassy in my country. As COPR says only to inform change in marital status I thought I can visit At airport they said they need to keep the passport and game me a copy and receipt. I came through express entry federal skill. Now spouse process started there. Can they cancel my COPR indefinitely. I have not done anything wrong. Thanks
You DID do something wrong by landing with a COPR indicating you were single when you were in fact married. This is misrepresentation. You needed to wait for your spouse to be added to your application (including taking and passing the medical, providing PCCs and passing the background and security checks) and a new COPR issued before landing.
If CBSA has siezed your passport, this means they are determining if PR will still be granted given the misrepresentation. You may wish to get a consult with an immigration lawyer.
Do not apply to sponsor your spouse. You need to resove the issue with your own PR status and passport first.
