me and my husband did our court marriage on oct 25 and submitted our documentation to cic in Early November 2009. My husband is a canadian and am a singaporean who is now residing in Canada. We have been waitin for an approval letter from CIC so far nothing has arrived yet. we r wondering when will we be getting an approval letter? and like how long ? times r bad so my hubby applied for EI and am wondering if that will affect us in anyway ??

hope someone can help me clear my worries

Where did you apply to Vegreville I assume, then first level contact won't be for 5/6 months from the date the application was received. EI doesn't effect applications.
