Marriage License question

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but my girlfriend got her TRV approved recently, we're planning to get married here when she visits. My question is:

If we apply now for the marriage license (which is needed ahead of time in Ontario), would this impact in any way, shape or form our intentions on doing an inland spousal application afterwards?

Basically, would CIC be made aware of our intent to marry prior to her arriving? Also, would this potentially cause problems once she lands here in Canada?

Thanks for any input you all have!

A marriage license in Ontario is only valid for 3 months so once you apply, you need to get married within 3 months.

CIC would not be aware of your plans unless you inform them. Other people might be able to provide more insight on how much information to reveal to the border officer but I think don't offer information that the CBSA officer did not ask for lol.
