Dear Members:

I have a quick question again.

If I am doing a in-canada spousal sponsorship, would a marriage certificate signed and officated in the US be accepted as official to the Candian Immigration Office? where can I find out more information about that? Do I have to "register" with my spouse in Toronto when we are there and have another civil ceremony? How will this marriage outside of Canada complicate the immigration process if any. Thanks

Hello.............. Back to rephrase the question to make sure the answer is the same

so, registering and obtaining the MC from abroad in the US is no problem as long as it is valid and legal.

Would I have to register again with the city government when I am in Canada?

Would it delay the processing if the regisration of marriage is not in canada and in the US instead? where as the person sponsoring me is a canadian CITIZEN?

Thanks
