Marriage during conjugal sponsorship

Hi to all.. Please help.

i'm a july 2014 applicant for conjugal sponsorship in canada. my application status is still "application received". my sponsor's previous marriage was annulled last april 2015 and we are able to get married last month, july 2015. since the immigration requires the applicant to inform the office for any changes in personal circumstances, i consider to declare mine.
my questions are;
-will it be affect our present application?
-is it necessary to apply another application like spousal sponsorship? And is that possible?
-what are the requirements they might ask after telling it to them?

This was our experience: We originally applied under conjugal sponsorship which was actually an error on our part. We should have applied under common law ... Long story and we would have been denied because we don't qualify for conjugal. We receive a procedural fareness letter giving us the opportunity to explain our error, provide more poof of continued relationship and cohabitation. Anyway, we got married 8 months after applying and emailed a scanned copy of the marriage certificate to Mississauga AND the visa office processing our application. After they received the certificate our application was sent back the Mississauga to have the Sponsorship revisited (because of the change from conjugal to Married application). Once the sponsorship was approved for the second time we received Decision Made.

I would email the scanned copy of the marriage certificate to both offices and wait for them to request any further documentation. You can also order GCMS Notes to see if there are any red flags regarding your application.

In our case we received approval of our application from federal and qcs,. (We applied in Quebec) is that an assurance?
