Hi, I need your advice and feedback.

We are applying for Family Stream and my common-law partner since 2005 and I got our civil wedding last March 2, 2012.

I've got my passport beforehand showing my last name when I was still single.

Should I update my passport bearing my new last name or my marriage certificate would be enough? Thanks in advance.

Also, do you have any news if they have new processing time? My friend, under Family Stream, processed their documents in 6months time-July-December 2012! ;) (she also didn't take IELTS anymore and they send it online. Very lucky.

hi there! same here. weve been nominated by manitoba.
we have problems like i passed my passport to them in a single status but we applied as married. we have been approved but in their letter of approval my name was printed wrong. i already set an appointed in the DFA to renew my passport in a married status and planning to pass it online.
we have noticed them through email since January 15, 2013 and still waiting for their action. what to do?

Guys where on the same boat. I just passed all the documents need like marriage certificate and signed my documents as married. I think everything will be fine as long as we put in all forms the we are married. Or else need to wait for the immigration.
