I am the principal applicant. When we first applied, my spouse and dependants were included in the application. Later i applied & got a divorce and lived separately with my children. A year ago, my ex-spouse expired. I need to update my details with the embassy. Need some advice on updating the IMM0008 form. Is my status that of a divorcee or a widow ? My children are still dependants. Do i need to include my ex-spouse details or only that of my children on the form.

1. You are divorced as your spouse died after the divorce. You have to show the children's mother
2. You have include your ex's information on page 1 of the IMM 008

Thank you for your advice.

On page for details of family members there is no provision to mention that my ex-spouse has expired. It just asks for his personal details where should i say that he is deceased?

I intend submitting a covering letter to embassy mentioning details(dates) of marriage, the children borne out of it , the divorce and my ex-spouse death. And i will attatch marriage certificate, childrens birth certificates, divorce decree and his death certificate to this letter. Is this okay? Do i need to do anything else?

I have not re-married nor am i in a common-law relnship. I am financially independant and wish to migrate with my children. Will the divorce and later ex-spouse death cause any delay in the processing of papers ?
