Marital Status Changes

How do I inform CIC about my marital status changes?
I called the CIC Call Centre and they were not very helpful. They give me an email id (Cio‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca). I sent my query but did not get any response.
Please advise.

Hello,
every time you call cic call center there will be a different answers. dont get yourself confused same case with me i got married after receiving the nomination letter from alberta. i got married after getting receiving the nomination and i included that in a letter while applying to federal application.
