Me and my husband are applying for Indian police clearance certificate through BLS in Edmonton. We got married in Canada, so our marital status / spouse names in Indian passports have not been updated. Will that cause any delay or problem and do I have to submit my marriage certificates issued here in Canada along with my application?

Also, our current Indian addresses have changed and are different from what was on our passports, so what should I write on the application - the new address or address on passport?

thanks in advance for any help.

Did you end up submitting a police clearance certificate that said you were single instead of married? Did that cause you any problems?
Can you please tell me about your experience? Thanks.
