Hi There. I want to apply for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program as Overseas Skilled Worker and will try to get exploratory visit and invitation to apply. But I want to clarify few things:
1. Could you please explain the difference between eligibility points vs. expression of interest points? Are they different programs or one precedes other and in this case why they have point system at every phase?
2. Eligibility criteria talk about 60 points plus Invitation to Apply Letter, which I hope to get through exploratory visit to Manitoba. Do I need to be in specific specialty or profession which is in high demand in Manitoba to get that letter or any profession with NOC 0,1 and 2 category works provided that my intentions to settle in Manitoba are genuine and settlement plan presented?
3. If I get that invitation letter and submit my expression of interest, is that letter the same as Strategic Initiative Letter or not? How many points invitation to apply letter gives me at the expression of interest stage and point assessment?
Thanks a lot!
Sincerely,
Sheki
