Hello All,

My wife has completed 6 months of experience in Noc B and she is planning to apply for MPNP. But no IELTS dates are available.

Yesterday I heard from a guy that if you are working in Noc 0,A,B category. You do not require English proficient test.

So I tried to fill out EOI but it says you are not eligible without English proficient test.

Can somebody help regarding the topic?

I'm afraid that's not true anymore. Those were old guidelines from 2014. See below:

Although the website states that "current criteria remains in effect ...", the truth is that they started to enforce the new criteria at some point in late 2018. They have different language requirements depending on the occupation.

Note that if her occupation is regulated according to the NOC statement, the language requirement will be higher than for a non-regulated occupation. If I'm not wrong, there are specific language requirements for In-demand occupations, so you also might want to check them out.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure about the availability of any language testing right now. I just wanted to give you some insights regarding the current language requirements so you can plan accordingly.
