I thought this might be of interest to any international students in Manitoba (Manitoba ONLY ).
My husband (American - no Canadian status yet) is on a student visa here which expires in Feb 2013.
We went to the Manitoba Health building in down town Winnipeg (on Carlton), filled out a form, and they printed us off a Manitoba health card right then and there, 20 minutes tops.
