I applied on 22-09-2008 under Fast Track Program (FSW Category) from Islamabad (Pakistan). We did our medicals on 24th November & still waiting for Passport request. I have queries which need your valuable guidance / assistance / help:
Currently Studying in Date of Birth as per Actual Date of Birth as per
Papers / Passport Hospital / Vaccination Record
Elder Daughter Level VIII 16-08-1998 16-12-1997
Younger Daughter Level IV 16-10-2002 16-10-2001
Above mentioned is the record of my both daughters. Both are extra ordinary intelligent and always secured 1st position in their respective classes throughout their educational carrier.
Academic year starts here in April and ends in March every year. 03 years ago Govt. revised this cycle & educational year started from August instead of March. To avoid time loss / save time & age of my daughters, I got manipulated / change in D.O.B of my both daughters. Accordingly, I got changed DOB’s in school, Municipality and Passports as Well. Unluckily, Govt. reversed its decision after 01 year and now academic year starts from April again.
Through internet and some friends I came to know that, Canadians place pupil to Classes according to their age and not on the basis of their previous received education in foreign country.
In the light of above, my questions are:
1. Is that statement (mentioned above) is true for all students? I mean my daughters have to study (again) in Level VII & III respectively?
2. Do they consider students having bright academic record and place them in classes as per actual, i.e, Level VIII & IV resp?
3. Can I change their record at this stage? Or it will ruin my case badly?
4. Is it possible that I can change their record after landing in Canada? Or will it complicate the case further?
5. Any other best and viable option to save ``1 year of precious time`` of my daughters from going into waste
Kindly advice me what to do???????
