Manila VO - PPR status and timeline

Hi I was hoping we can share timelines and experiences to help calm the anxiety of waiting ;D

Here is my timeline since I received my PPR from Manila Immig:

May 13 - PPR received thru e-mail
May 17 - Passports mailed to VFS Makati (thru LBC)
May 18 - received SMS notif from VFS saying that they received our PPs and will forward it to CEM the following day
May 20 - received a system generated e-mail re: pre-arrival services.

I saw a few asking for how we sent our passports to VFS so I thought I could share how I submitted mine.

Inclusions: (note: each applicant may be required to send different documents and attachments, mine are as follows)
1. Passports
2. Appendix B
3. 2 immigration photos - With my name and birthdate hand written on the back; and the photo studio's name and address stamped at the back
4. A copy of the e-mail I received

5. FEES in managers cheque


FEES:
As per inquiry, here are the fees to be paid to VFS when sending your application by mail (note that this is a per passport price) :
1. 537 - service chare (mandatory fee)
2. 285 - courier fee.
I asked VFS what their courier is and it is 2GO. This is listed as an optional fee but if you will not pick up your passports personally and prefer to have it mailed back, I think it is better paying this already. I asked about prepaid pouches because I preferred LBC but the personnel I talked to said they cannot do it.
3. 68 - sms notification fee.
Right now, the only notification I received from VFS was that they received my passports and will forward it to Manila Visa OFfice the following day.

**Managers cheque
- I got mine from BD0.
- You do not need to have a BDO account to avail of a manager's cheque, you can pay in cash.
- I paid 50 pesos for each cheque because I got separate cheques for each passport I submitted.

Wow happy to see this,,my father got d sponsor aproval lastwik of april and our application has been sent to vo manila.. until now no news yet or update on ecas.. me and my brother is stil waiting for whats going to be next..

Hi, any update on your Visa?

Just received my PPR last week and was wondering how long it will take from VFS receiving the package to actually having the Visa foil in the apssport.
