Manila's posted timeline guideline is:

Spouses/Common-law Partners/Dependant Children

Within 6 months from receipt of a completed application from the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga (Canada).

Recently, many cases are coming out of Manila completed in 4 months...it's hard not to be hopeful of this but at the same time who knows....if it's of interest to anyone sponsoring a spouse in the Philippines, here is my updated timeline:

April 3rd, 2009 - Application Fedexed to CPC Mississauga
April 7th, 2009 - Application Received by CPC Mississauga
April 28th, 2009 - “Decision Made” and file sent to Manila according to e-CAS
April 29th, 2009 - First able to logon to e-CAS
May 1st, 2009 - Sponsorship approval letter
May 14th, 2009 - Manila began processing the application according to e-CAS
May 18th, 2009 - e-CAS changed from "Not Available" to "In Process"
May 25th, 2009 - AOR letter received with request for passports
May 26th, 2009 - Passports couriered via LBC to Manila
May 27th, 2009 - Passports received by Manila
July 6th, 2009 - Letter dated June 3rd received requesting Solo Parent ID and history of relationship with biological father
July 9th, 2009 – Documents sent to Manila via LBC
July 10th, 2009 - Documents received by Manila
July 10th, 2009 - Received packages containing proof of relationship
July 22th, 2009 - Asked my MP to initiate an inquiry to the embassy
July 30th, 2009 - Embassy replied to MP stating they received requested docs, file is in queue and a document verification result is still outstanding

i've been submitted my documents last sept 08 " Family Class" until now i have'nt received any update from the embassy Manila,
are the processing time line same as Family Class in all category? since my wife is a Caregiver?

How about my application?
Here's the timeline:
Dec. 19, 2008 - my partner got approved
Jan. 7, 2009 - my papers received by Manila Embassy - E-Cas change to IN PROCESS
Feb. 13, 2009 - Recieved a letter stating that my papers is Manila Embassy and they need my passport and other personal info
Feb. 15, 2009 - Sent thru LBC
March 27, 2009 - I got a letter asking for additional pictures and documents
March 31, 2009 - Sent it personally at their mail box in Makati
July 14, 2009 - I sent a follow-up letter using their form.
July 15, 2009 - Received by the Manila Office

At present - no feedback yet and I'm still waiting for my visa.

your case is under the caregiver program also known as the LC2 sponsorship, it usually takes 6-8 months for that sponsorship to be finalized...

After the medical expect everything to go smoothly, Me and my Family were also under the LC2 sponsorship when my mom was sponsoring us as a caregiver. Just 5 months after she filed our sponsorship, Manila Visa Office issued our visa's and sent our passport's back to us... Now I'm sponsoring my wife, and it's just been 3 months since I filed her sponsorship but they already requested for her passport...

Good luck to you and your kids... Don't worry too much, this is just a waiting game we have to play... Cheers!

kasi yung mga FSW applicants may mga instances na they were asked for an interview yun sa kin waived na.madalas ata sa FSW applicants ata yun kayo ba wala?thanks...goodluck.
