Main duties
College and other vocational instructors perform some or all of the following duties:
•Teach students using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, shop sessions, seminars, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects
•Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
•Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress
•Advise students on program curricula and career decisions
•Provide individualized tutorial/remedial instructions
•Supervise independent or group projects, field placements, laboratory work or hands-on training
•Supervise teaching assistants
•May provide consultation services to government, business and other organizations
•May serve on committees concerned with matters such as budgets, curriculum revision, and course and diploma requirements.
•These instructors specialize in particular fields or areas of study such as visual arts, dental hygiene, welding, engineering technology, policing, computer software, management and early childhood education.

i would like to draw attention of you here what i have prepared as main duties as college lecturer in economics. pls spare some time for me and consult it later i would like to hear from you as comment:
Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and teaching economics for college students
Developing curricula and preparing teaching materials and outlines for courses and advising students on program curricula and career decisions
Preparing, administering and marking tests and papers to evaluate student’s progress.
Marking works, giving feedback and maintaining records of pupil’s progress and development.
Providing individualized tutorial/ remedial instructions and supervising independent or group projects , field placements or hands on training
Preparing pupils for external exams and administering and invigilating these exams.
Serving on comities concerned with matters such as budget, curriculum, revision and course requirements
all these are my main duties.
what do you think in this regrad? does it satisfy main duties...

as u know i have been married just after geting the email reply of the initial application to the cio, canada. but still i didnt make them informed yet . i have 2 months time in hand for sending full docs to the chc. i have collected all documents for both of us, i mean for mine and my spouse. i am planning to send all documents including application fees for spouse, in a full package. will it be a problem next?
i am confused wheteher , sould i inform them first, then they will instruct, and next i require to send doc to chc,

Don't try to fit your duties in that box. It will never fit. Just enter a line or two, and add a line "Refer Addtional Sheet"
Title your additional sheet :
Mention your duties clearly : keep the duties described under 4131 category as the skeleton.
Use the same tereminoloy and words - weave your duties around it.
CIO only check if the duties described you matches the duties described in 4131, if they do, you will refered to your local embassy.
At your country specific embassy, you need to substantiate what you stated in your application to the CIO.
