Mailbox rental and mail forwarding

I am landing in Alberta very soon in the next month or 2. But I still have to come back to the US to finish up my obligation here for another few months. I can only stay in Alberta for 2-3 weeks.

I heard that you can rent a mailingbox (with an address look like) and they forward the mail to the US. You can leave this address at any application when you land. PR card, social security, ..etc. The rental is pretty cheap (like $200 for the whole year ...)

Anyone heard of this services? Is it ok to use it?

Never heard of it. On the contrary, you can request United Parcel Service (UPS) for a Canadian address to receive the PR card, so that the company can then courier the PR card to you in the States.
