Hello EBD,

I was pondering over the lowest point possible for an aspirant having an LMIA or PNP offer under EE system. As far as I understand, it can be 600 points plus the lowest points possible for Age which is zero. Therefore, I feel lowest points possible is 600. :'( :'(

What do you all say?? Please throw some light and enlighten me. :)

The lowest possible score is, as far as I know, 624 for FST (if you're interested in details, see here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/lowest-possible-score-for-lmiaholders-is-just-624-t269478.0.html) Of course, it's unlikely, such a candidate would be at least 45 years old, have no education (or at least no ECA), the lowest passable language score and no Canadian experience. But it's theoretically possible. For CEC, I think it would be 664 (NOC B) or something around 700 (NOC A). For FSW, it's hard to calculate the exact score, but I would estimate it to be around 750 (with a spouse) - 800 (no spouse) (because a FSW candidate would also need to score 67+ under FSW point system).

(Note that, apart from age, a candidate would have to be eligible under FSW or FST or CEC program, each of which has some requirements. At the very least, any of them would require CLB4 or CLB5 in language tests, which brings some points under CRS, so score would always be more than 600 for eligible candidates)

Thanks for this awesome and detailed reply. My query is resolved.
