Low Vision - Medical for Canada immigration(FSW)

Dear Members,

The vision in my eyes is 6/24 with glasses and 6/36 without glasses. My medical under EE is expected in few months. I was wondering whether IRCC would accept or reject my medicals based on poor vision. I could not find clearly defined rules or guidelines regarding this issue.

You have poor vision and need glasses. Most people wear glasses and are not a burden on healthcare. You pay for glasses and appointments in Canada as it is not covered anyways. Whether this is a burden on the healthcare system will be decided in the medical. Do you have any other vision conditions other than poor sight? If you need surgery or will need assistance then that may be an issue.
