Hi,

I am current have only a CRS score of 405. What are the possibilities of receiving an job offer for any employer in the provinces for NOC 0213 ? I read in other threads that it is very unlikely to get a job offer for NOC 0213 for overseas workers.

Can anyone suggest if there is any chance for me waiting for an invitation or is getting a job offer the only option left?

I am currently 42 turning 43 in Jun. Is study abroad an option for me? I do have a Master equivalent from WES.

Thanks.

Best regards,
ALV

You have limited pathways. I think your score is lower than 405 unless you have a sibling in Canada. Your CRS is too low for PNP without a job offer. Studying in Canada when you are over 40 and have a masters can be problematic. You have to show career progression in your home country. And doing a post graduate certificate and getting a study permit will be a challenge.

Thanks for the response. So I guess I am then limited to getting a PnP via a job offer only. Do you have any idea if it is really possible that I will be able to get a job offer for NOC 0213 as an overseas employee or it that also a dream ?

Job offers are generally extremely difficult to secure.

Is there any other way you can substantially increase your score?

It is difficult without work authorization unless you have such a specialized skill set where an employer can’t find a Canadian or PR to do the job.

I wouldn't wait - I would recommend you explore ways of increasing your score. Consider learning French.

Look for a college that offers a post graduate certificate in a general program like business. Or a masters course based program. Once you get here and study for a year you can get a job which sponsors LMIA. There are a lot of immigration consultants who help with that. I know people who are over 45 years old and that is the path they have used. Business is regarded as a broad program and anyone from any background can go into it. A PGD in Business or MBA will be good. If you have a strong finance, ties to your home country(title deed etc., and are currently working, then study is your best option.

Let the VO know you started or intend to start a small business related to the field you are currently in and how you intend to develop it. e.t.c (Your statement of Purpose will determine a lot).

The other option is learning French as someone has already mentioned above. Takes about a year to be on B1 Level. And this depends on the number of hours you put in.
