i have got only 48% in my 12th exam with some backlogs and a gap of 3 years. do i stand a chance to get a study permit for Canada?

unfortunately, there is hardly a chance for you to get a study permit.

BE Electronics 59.04% :(
IELTS: 7
Professional Experience: 1.5 years
and now i am giving GRE in May and planning to apply in June for January Session.
So what are my chances??

Your marks are low; however you can try to get admission into some vocational training course in a reputed college (ex: Seneca, Humber etc in Ontario) and go that route. This cannot be an academic course because I don't think you would be able to sell the VO on your serious intentions to study if you are pursuing non-vocational education

You can if you educate yourself well in India and come to a certain level of accomplishment in terms of your education and profession.
You can also save yourself a lot of money if you do that here.

but i want to study Computer animation. my over all marks is 48% but my marks in computer science is good. and i have backlogs in economic and accountancy only. will my application be evaluated based on my computer marks for i am trying to study only computer in Canada?
