Lost work permit needed for physical presence accuracy

Hello,

I am currently applying for citizenship and have a concern regarding my physical presence calculator.

I spent about one month on implied status followed by about 3 months on a bridging work permit before obtaining PR. I don't need the time on implied status to make up the 1095 days, however I am using the time spent on the bridging visa, and unfortunately I don't have a copy of this bridging visa. The border officer kept it the day I activated my PR and I don't have a copy of it saved, and neither do my job. As a result I don't know how to enter this period into my physical presence calculator as the dates will be off.

Can anyone offer any advice on what I can/should do? I'm thinking I could call IRCC and they might have a record of when it was issued. Otherwise I do know the date that I applied for the bridging visa, and it was approved approximately 30 days after this date. So I could maybe put in a rough estimate of the date it was issued into my physical presence calculator, and explain why it's likely incorrect in a letter of explanation? I do have a buffer of extra days over the 1095 days in case it's slightly off.

Many thanks in advance!

1. To get a copy via access, will take about 30 days. So if it takes more than 30 days, you really haven't gained anything, as the BOWP would only give you 45 days of credit. You know that it is not required to include it? It is not on the document checklist. CIC can check on line when they check your application.
