Hello,
I'm in a bit of stressful situation and would really appreciate if someone could help: I landed in Canada in Aug 2012 and became a permanent resident. Due to some work obligations in Europe, I stayed only a few days in Canada, with the goal of moving there in about 2 years. My PR card was sent to a friend's address in Canada 2 months after my landing and he sent it to me here in Europe. Now the problem is: I am now planning to go to Canada in 2 months, and I just realized that apparently my card is lost!! Been looking for it for a week now, can't find it yet! So what am I supposed to do now? Should I apply for a travel document and how long does it usually take to get the visa? Furthermore, will they even issue me the travel document knowing that I have not stayed in Canada after landing 2 years ago?!
Thanks so much!
