abit late for that i think as I need to leave tomorrow morning.
Wouldnt a visa free country passport allow free entry regardless of pr card?
The issue is not entering the country but rather being allowed to board the plane in the first place. I'm from a visa exempt country and I would never attempt to board a plane without my PR card or a PRTD.
Lets say I have no choice, why would they wont let me board with a visa exsempt passport?
Visa-exempt people require an eTA to travel to Canada. The airline will run your passport, see that you don't have an eTA and refuse you boarding. You can tell them you are a PR and they will ask for a PR card or PRTD. When you can't produce either, you will again be refused boarding.
