lost one of my passports

I would like to ask you about my case that I applied for renew my PR and the CIC approved and sent to my local CIC Office.
They infomed me to pick up it next week and they requested to bring all current valid passports that cover the last five years.
My question is I have three passports during 5 years but I can't find the oldest one. however, I made true copy of the origional since one year when it was with me and signed by a laywer that is copy of the origional, I will send it to translator to translate it and sign by Juror.
Is it eligible and convinced by the immigration officers to suppose it is working instead of the origional that I lost or they will reject!!!!!!!
Please advice me

If your passport is lost then there is really nothing you can do about it.

I'll advice you just go to the CIC office with what you currently have and other documents to show that you were in Canada like pay slips, receipts, bank statements etc.... everything you can take there to proof you were in Canada, then see how it goes.

Thank for your replay but I need more advice is it sufficient for them a true copy of the original or they will reject what is the best answer I have to prepare it to convince them to accept my case??
I don't like to give me any kind of Questionnaire because I don't have time I will travel after 2 days from the appointment with CIC !!!!!!
