Hi everyone,

Im a bit confused as I initially applied for Express visa entry. To give you the timeline:

Sept 16th 2018: I submitted my application
Sept 19th 2018: in the message section, I receive an ITA.
Sept 20th 2018: I receive a NOI for Ontario. I chose to continue and I completed everything to continue with the application.

My issue: I have a score of 493 points for the Express visa entry and my result is 504 points for the Permanent Residency.
Why the score is different?

In between, i was in a Common law relationship with my girlfriend but we decided to stop so I did change it in the Permanent Residency application but does this gives me 20 extra points??

So the next question is: Am I not supposed to to combine the score of the Express visa 493 pts + invitation for a province which gives +600 points instead of calculating independently?

I am supposed to the medical but I havent received any medical form for the Express visa.

Does anyone relate to this? Sorry if its not super clear, let me know if its the case...!

Thank you a lot,

If you had ITA why choose OINP?
Extra money..extra boundaries..extra time...when with ITA you can stay anywhere you want.

Express does not mean you get visa in a week..it may take 5-6 months. With oinp it's even longer.

Thanks for your feedback. But i didnt choose OINP over Express so I dont know how I got there!

The messages are as followed:

- Express Entry: notification of interest from a province. (and in the message, it says that if i wish to continue I can do it.

Otherwise, If I dont not want to to continue with this OINP, what do I have to? Wait for another notification?

Thanks for your help!

Are you sure that your crs is that high? If it's more than 450 you will get direct ita in next draw.
