Lost my Work Permit outside of Canada

I have a very urgent Question!!

I am currently in Austria visiting my family and unfortunately I lost my Passport and with it my Canadian Work Permit!!!

I will get a new Passport withing the next few days and I do have a copy of my Work Permit. Now I would like to know if I will be able to enter Canada with these documents??? I am entering Canada by Bus (Greyhound) coming from Seattle!

I know I have to apply for a replacement but I'm flying back in a week and I won't get the replacement in time!

Does anyone have exerience with this kind of situation? can anyone tell me what will (most likely) happen at the boarder? can they deny the entry and send me home again??

I really appreciate any help!!!

There is Canadian visa office in Vienna. If you are already they a trip to their office can clarify many things.
