Lost my indian passport

i came here in 2017 as an international student. Now i am on work permit and today i checked that my passport is lost.. can i make a new passport?
What document are required for the new passport
From where i can made that and can i have to complaint in a police station for the lost passport
Please tell me

Contact Indian Embassy. Basically you will need a police report, should be relatively simple procedure.
