Lost my H1B job. Getting Canadian Citizenship this month.

Currently in the US. I lost my job a few weeks back. I will be getting my Canadian Citizenship in August.

After that I am planning to visit India for 60 days.

Can I come back to the US after my India trip purely on the basis of being a Canadian Citizen?
After that, if I interview and clear the job interview can I switch to H1B visa?
