Lost my citizenship oath letter in mail.

Hi,

I had my citizenship test passed in march 3rd. I was told my officer that i should recieve a oath letter in 4 weeks. After waiting for 5 weeks, today i called cic call centre and they told that letter was already send a month ago for march oath ceremony. But, i did not recieve letter so far.
Has anyone faced similar situation that cic send them oath letter and it lost in mail?

What did you do in this case?

did you check your e cas status? you have to inform them and you have to
ask them to schedule the oath if date is passed if not than you still go and take
the oath without letter if date is not passed.

Yes, i have checked ecas online but there is no status update regarding the oath issue letter. it still shows old record regarding the written test. they have not updated the system yet, it seems.

however, i came to know today after i called them to their cic call centre. they told me to send them mail with this.

i have passed my date already .

i am really worried now.

Do as the call center instructed you to and they will give you a new oath date, not much to worry about. Except you could have been a citizen by now if the mail reached you!

That's the risk of CIC who send very important letter with $1 stamp instead of using tracking.
