A friend of mine. She lost the CSQ letter but she have her IM-1 category(spousal sponsorship) visa in hand. Can she enter Montreal, Canada without CSQ?
So here is the story. She got married in 2010. Husband makes the application with CIC and gets the CSQ letter probably valid until 2012. Than federal rejects the application because marriage is not genuine. They appeal the decision and gets rejected once again.
With more documents to prove marriage is genuine, they applied in 2016 and gets the federal approval in 2017. During 2nd application there was no mention about CSQ from federal.
So here are the questions:
CSQ formalities were not requested is it because she was previously approved?
Can she enter Canada without CSQ?
How can we get a copy of CSQ?
And since CSQ is believed to be expired, and if CSQ is needed to enter, what are the steps to get it?
Thank you.
