lost credit card before AOR.....pl z help

hope you are doing well

I am asking this question on the behalf of my friend. Her file was received at CIO on 15 dec 2012 but unfortunately she lost her credit card on 12 jan 2013 and to avoid misuse the bank has stopped that card and issued them a new one. The query is that how she can consult CIO to provide them new details . Is it possible to do something now? they will contact her for new detail or will return the whole package .

please let us know if there is any email or ??? .....she is really really upset bcoz her nomination is going to expire soon .

sorry to know that your friend had this unfortunate event but i guess whether she contact the cio or not her file is going to be returned. what she needs to do now is to wait for the file and send back another application. my suggestion is use a bank draft this time so this event will not happen again. As for the expiration of the nomination i know a some people who ask for an extension. hope this will help goodluck!

It's really unfortunate thing. Coming to the point, I don't think we can contact CIO now without having a file number. But nothing is wrong in doing so. So, just ask your friend to contact CIO at thie email address "Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca". Please ask your friend to mention her first name, last name, date of birth, nomination number, date that CIO has received the package, copy of FedEx/UPS/USPS delivery that shows the person's name who has received. Try to provide as many details as possible. Also, you have to write a cover letter explaining everything along with new credit card number, expiration date and CVV code etc.

If it works out, she is really lucky. Otherwise she has to wait until the file comes back to her. If her Nominations gets expired by that time, she has to make a request for the Nomination Extension. I was also one of the persons who requested for my AINP Nomination extension....and got it luckily.

Also, I think she has to send a new IMM5620 (Fee Payment Form) as her credit card details have been changed.
