Guys,

Applied under 0213 (IT Manager) category, No Medical request yet, I am losing hope with such a long wait... Any comments on when I should expect the next move?

eCAS status as below:

"We received your application for permanent residence on November 16, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 21, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on January 27, 2010. The London England office may contact you."

Thanks,

Cx

Pre-June-2010 applicants, and especially those with occupations no longer on the in-demand list, are being processed at a lower priority at most visa offices than post-June-2010 applicants.

Some pre-June-2010 will still get visas this year since visa offices have a higher quota of FSW visas than they have post-June-2010 applications in their inventory. But many pre-June-2010 applicants will have to wait until next year. A few may even have to wait until the year after.

The recent sets of Ministerial Instructions with the capping system are going to greatly help reduce and eventually eliminate the backlog, but it is all going to take time.

Hope you hear something soon,
Wayne.

Brother,

Please send them a specific case enquiry. Of course i know they will reply you with a generic information but never mind, this will show your case as alive. Someone may just be curioius becuse of the long date and decided to open it. It ould be a dead case you know.

I have sent 2 specific inquiries and none was replied. I am so confused and do not know what to do.

Well, i will be patient and will continue to wait. By the time the start processing i might have changed mind.

My kids will go and study there.

Thanks Cap.

I am almost at the edge of forgetting about canada saga as it has taken so long... The blinding wait and see game is too long to decide about the future etc.

Hopefully this is what CIC are realising. When applications take 2,3,4,5+ years - peoples lives have changed so much during that time that sometimes immigration is no longer possible.

To effectively respond to labour market needs Canada needs to be turning around FSW applications within 6 months really. They've shown with a few applicants under the new system that this is possible, and will probably be commonplace once the backlog is cleared.

But regrettably for those still stuck in the process, the backlog is going to take at least a couple of years to clear.

Wayne.

Thank you Wayne...

At lease there is a ray of light at the end of the tunnel at least the application is not declined yet!

This is why you are not getting the MR at this moment.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Your documents are now on file.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the

immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of

applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must

process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient

number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process

your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will

resume.

So, Dont loose your hopes and stay tuned !

@Canadaforall,

The delay in your case seems to be very much out of the ordinary; I really think you should write the program manager for your region or better still the immigration minister himself.Unfortunately, I do not have the link to their contact address but hopefully someone on the forum can provide it.
I really hope your long wait comes to an end soon

Dont you think that would be an attacking approach and could rage anger in the VO's mind?
