Dear all,

My case is a bit delicate and complicated ,but i hope someone can share me his information ....

In case i have lost my PR status for not fulfiling the PR obligations, then after a while my wife (who has never applied for immigration to Canada) get the immigration visa and land and therefore becomes a PR . My questions are :

1- Can she applies for immigration being the wife of an ex-PR who lost his PR status .
2- if yes, can she sponsor me , (me being ex-PR , lost my status for not fulfuling my PR obligations) ?
3- Can i, myself re-apply for immigration or i wont be given any other chance after losing my PR status ?

Thank u in advance

1. Your wife is allowed to apply and if you are no longer a PR, she must include you in her application as her spouse.

2. She can list you as accompanying which means you also get PR with her or as non-accompanying which means you don't get PR but she could sponsor you later.

3. You can re-apply if you still qualify. Be aware that the immigration classes keep changing so you may not qualify any more under the class you came under the first time or that class might not even exist any more.

Yes, she can apply while you are still PR but in that case, she would not include you in her immigration application, just in the additional family information form.
