Hi Guys,
I applied from within Canada (Sydney) in June of 2014, and still have not been sent my medical request.
I applied for GCMS notes May 25th and received them yesterday.
I have been living and working in Canada since August 2012 on a one year IEC visa and then a two year Iec visa which will expire this coming August.
I applied through the CEC for PR for myself, my wife and my two young children.
There were three issues with my file, two minor issues and one which appears to be a major issue.
1. I need to send a copy of my youngest son's passport.
2 I need a police cert for when I lived in London, UK (2010-2011)
3. I initially worked here as a Carpenter (NOC 7271,Category B skilled trade) fom August 2012 to April 2013 8 months roughly 1500 hours for two different companies.
I then began scaffolding (NOC 7445,Category C trade) from April 2013 to present. At the time i was told by a co-worker that C category trades count for half the hours of B category trades when applying for PR, so included this as work experience from 20 May 2013 to 19th of Aug 2013.
Yesterday I found out this is not the case and that the scaffolding hours are not counted as the NOC code for this work experience is not under skill level 0, A or B.
The last note was dated Feb 4th 2015.
Is there any way past this?
How can I keep my Canadian dream alive?
Any advice on how to proceed from here would be GREATLY appreciated!
