Hello Everyone,
I have recently moved to Montreal and started a new job. As other might be aware, its really difficult to meet new people in a new city especially when your mobility is restricted due to the extreme weather conditions Montreal seems to be experiencing lately.
With that in mind, I would like to reach out to my fellow immigrants and connect with them. We all can help each other out with settling in the country as well as increase our social circle.
As a background, I am 29 year old guy, born and raised in Kolkata, India and originally from Punjab. I have worked in Kolkata, delhi and Mumbai and have friends from almost all states in India. So I am pretty friendly, open-minded, liberal and welcoming guy.
Also I have lived for over 3 years in Dubai, helping me make a lot of friends from all over the world including the Indian subcontinent (Pak and B'desh), Middle East (Lebanon, Morocco, UAE, Qatar and Iran) and also have buddies from various countries in EU and Aus.
With the above in mind, I welcome anyone who is new to Montreal or a well-settled person to connect with me. we can have a quick chat over some Tim's or a drink at a bar (fine with both).
