Looking for some insight about a unique situation...Need Help

So I got my Invitation to Apply on the 28th of March. My score was 462 without an LMIA.
I applied for Immigration under FSW on the 13th of May and my first AOR was recieved on the 13 th May
Then I passed my Medicals and I was sent a request for passport copy, which i did and they recieved it.
Now my openwork permit was coming to an end on the 18th of June. So I sent an application for extention on the 17th of june, with an letter explaning why i have sent an application for extention with out having an LMIA (as my PR application is in progress and i have been here for 5 years). Since then i have had no updates what so ever .... I am on implied status. I dont understand why its taking so long.

Other people are likely more knowledgeable than me but my understanding is that you can continue working on implied status up to the point you receive feedback on your extension request. I believe the turnaround time on getting a response is usually about 3 months (that was my experience), in your case given that you've already received ITA and AOR you should be granted extension (that's assuming you need it, there's a decent chance you'd have PPR by the time you receive response)

Hi tpaulz, you are worrying unnecessarily Many others who have the same timeline as you have not received any status updates, other than similar to yours, since submission. I think you will surely get PR before your WP extension is approved. Current processing times for WP extensions are 100+ days at present and CIC seem to be working on May PR applications at present. Good luck with everything.
