I am not sure whether anyone but CIC can provide me with a definite answer, but any input regarding this issue is more than welcome!
MB nominated me under their PNP (Employer Direct). They provided me with a letter to get an extension for my WP in order to file my application for the PR. CIC provided me with a new WP that is valid for another 2(!) years. My situation changed dramatically over the last couple of weeks, and I am actually thinking about going back home by the end of the year.
Now I am debating if I should just not apply for my PR and save the money, as I might be out of the country by the end of the year. The actual visa document does not state that it was issued based on an application for PR. I am not sure, if MB would follow up with CIC (I have until February 2010 to submit my PR application under the PNP) or what would happen.
Hopefully someone here could provide me with some information/comments. Thanks so much in advance!
